Comic Con Portugal 2015

Ok, eis que chegamos à última paragem da nossa pequena tour de festivais e convenções.

COMIC CON PORTUGAL!!!

No próximo fim de semana, começa a convenção que se revelou uma agradável surpresa no ano passado. Este ano vai ser pessoalmente especial, por vários motivos, e aqui vão eles.

A curta "Omega", que fiz com o meu amigo Nuno Duarte no ano passado para a antologia Crumbs, da Kingpin Books, está nomeada para o prémio Excelência Na Criação de Curtas de BD, da primeira edição dos Galardões da BD, promovida pela Comic Con.

A Comicheart vai estar presente pela primeira vez num stand, e lá podem encontrar cópias da prequela que fiz para o projecto lançado no último Lucca Comics and Games, Amazzoni, da Passenger Press, além de pranchas originais do livro.
Além destas pranchas, estarão também à venda outros trabalhos originais meus, incluindo algumas das aguarelas que tenho feito ultimamente, ao lado dos trabalhos de alguns dos melhores autores portugueses. Mesmo a tempo do Natal.

A exposição "Figuras Clássicas do Terror", depois da sua estreia nos Sustos às Sextas, e de ter passado pelo Motelx e pela Escola Secundária José Gomes Ferreira, vai estar patente na ComicCon durante o fim de semana.

Para terminar, e falando de exposições, para quem esperava notícias do meu projecto Hanuram, vai haver uma mini exposição dedicada à personagem, que servirá de teaser para uma notícia maior para 2016.

Hanuram, o Dourado irá ser publicado em português no princípio do ano que vem.

Na convenção, vou estar entre o stand da Comicheart e o Artist Alley, e vou ter à venda prints de algumas pranchas do meu Amazzoni, Storie Della Progenitrice, cópias do livro, e mini comics e prints do Hanuram, incluindo esta, acabada de fazer.

Next weekend, starts the convention that prove itself a very pleasant surprise last year.
This year will personally special for a few reasons, and here they are.

The short story "Omega" that I made last year with my friend Nuno Duarte for the anthology Crumbs, published by Kingpin Books, is nominated for a Short Story award at the new Galardões da BD, promoted by the Comic Con.

Comicheart will have a stand at the convention for the first time, and there you can find cópias and originals from my collaboration with the latest project published by Passenger Press, launched at this year's Lucca Comics and Games, Amazzoni.
Besides these pages, I'll also have there a few of watercolors I've been doing recently, alongside the works of a few of Portugal's best authors and illustrators. Just in time for the Holidays.

The exhibit "Figuras Clássicas do Terror", after debuting at Sustos às Sextas and shows at Motelx and Escola Secundária José Gomes Ferreira, will head to Comic Con during the weekend.

Last, but not least, and speaking of exhibits at Comic Con, if you were expecting news from my project Hanuram, you can catch a mini exhibit at the con, serving as teaser for a bigger annoucement for 2016.

Hanuram, the Golden will be published in Portugal at the beginning of next year.

I'll be hanging around the con between the Comicheart stand and Artist Alley, with copies of Amazzoni - Storie Della Progenitrice, prints from some of those pages, and mini comics and prints from Hanuram, including this one, freshly finished.
